AEG-TX MEETING ARCHIVES

12/18/2002

Dallas Area AEG News - A tentative field trip planned in Dallas on Jan. 18. The plan is to tour a subsurface 90 million gallon stormwater drainage system that has been designed to handle runoff from I-75 during periods of heavy storms. It apparently consists of 13 parallel tunnels 300 feet long by 40 feet wide by 25 feet tall. Marty Flanders is trying to line it up with City officials now.

Also the DFW chapter will not be meeting on the first Thurs. of Jan. since it is Jan. 2. Instead the meeting will be on the second Thurs., Jan. 9. We just aren't sure that many people will be around that close to Jan 1.

Also, the San Antonio Chapter will be meeting the First Thursday of January (1/3) instead of the Last Thursday of December due to the holidays.
